Introducing the 2007 Jeep Wrangler Jk

Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010

Having the potential to open the doors to a whole new market of enthusiasts, the 2007 Jeep Wrangler JK is the latest addition to 4 Wheel Drive & Sport Utility Magazine’s stable of vehicles.

The four-door JK Rubicon gives Jeep fans the opportunity to finally step into a Wrangler. The Jeep now fits every family activity. There is a huge room inside the new four-door Jeep where the kids can be put in the back seat.

The reliable TJ Rubicon certainly had an impact on the off-road market knowing it has a good thing going. Jeep has taken many of the Rubicon’s features like the front and rear air lockers, traction control, and pieces of solid Jeep axle. All these and more are rolled into a spacious Jeep capable of conquering trails like the famous Rubicon Trail. Chrysler has also contributed a front electronic sway-bar disconnect, so there’s no more crawling around in the dirt struggling to disconnect the sway-bar links.

Its extended wheelbase is now 116 inches and the fuel tank is now located between the passenger-side inner framerail and the driveshaft. Market research statistics show that very few new Jeep owners as well as average Jeep enthusiasts will ever attempt a trail of a difficult level, but just knowing the capabilities that their Jeeps possess gives enough peace of mind. Remember that any vehicle can be modified so if you would want to restyle it, go!

The entirely redesigned ‘07 Wrangler JK is equipped with a 3.8L OHV V-6, which was the main powerplant for some of the minivans of DaimlerChrysler. The engine that gives 205 hp and 240 lb-ft of torque propels the new JK quite well around town, on the highway, and even on the trail.

As regards gas mileage, the Jeep has maintained its good one. The newly reinvented seats definitely helped keep driver’s fatigue at bay.

From inside the JK, visibility is very good. The large front, side, and rear windows provide the driver and passengers with a clear view of the trail or highway. Other than that, there are no huge and obtrusive A and B pillars to peer around. These are all very necessary because on-the-trail visibility is a must for negotiating obstacles with a clear line of sight. Good visibility makes sightseeing on the highway much more enjoyable and driving that a much safer condition.

Jeep fanatics will surely like this vehicle. Have one to experience a different driving pleasure.
